Locals Rockin HRC Featuring The Ryan Horizon Band

It all started with an acoustic guitar in Detroit, Michigan. After a painful band breakup, Ryan Roosen (age 22) found himself alone with his guitar and songs that needed to be heard. Naturally he teamed up with his cousin Alex Schlump (22), who can play just about anything you put in front of him on piano. Shortly after, a longtime friend, Josh Truszkowski (23) accepted an invite to play bass. Lastly, after trying out a few drummers, we found a young prodigy named Sam White (18). The chemistry was undeniable after writing ten songs in just a few short months. With such diverse influences, such as The Beatles, Jimmy Eat World, Led Zeppelin, 311, and Metallica, they found a sound that was huge, and apparently well-liked. RyanHORIZONband played at 2 or 3 local shows a month and impressed enough music lovers to gain a strong and loyal following.
